Jakob Nielsen has just posted a new alertbox on his website - Data Visualization of Web Stats: Logarithmic Charts and the Drooping Tail. "Using a linear diagram to plot data from website traffic logs can lead you to overlook important conclusions. Sometimes advanced visualizations are worth the effort."

This has been sitting for quite a long time in my inbox and I just re-discovered it going through my emails. I've always been a big fan of pinhole cameras and this one is just sweet. Lighthouse in a tree is offering pinhole camera as a free PDF download.

A pinhole is a camera that uses a very small hole, as if made by a pin instead of a lens, for light to enter and form an image on the film or other light-sensitive medium. What makes this camera really cool is that you use 35mm films with it instead of a photographic paper.
